The meeting was held on September 22-23, 2020 in the administrative building of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" to discuss ways to improve transport and customs operations using digital technologies in accordance with international norms and multilateral documents of the OSCE Center in Turkmenistan. The main purpose of the meeting was to develop a digital, international and interagency framework for international and interregional trade based on international conventions and multilateral documents (including the international Convention on customs facilitation and coordination - the Kyoto Convention), which was attended by representatives of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary", the Turkmenbashi International sea port, as well as members and experts of the OSCE. The meeting lasted two days, and on the first day, experts discussed in detail the transfer of transport operations to the digital system, the impact of the transition to the digital system on the development of transport corridors, as well as the "single window" system. On the second day of the meeting, experts spoke about the implementation of the ASYKUDA World system in the customs service and Georgia's experience in this regard. The meeting also discussed the international transport corridors Lapis-Lazuli and Caspian Sea-Black Sea, as well as the role of the digital system in the implementation of these projects.
