The meeting was held on March 25, 2021 in the administrative building of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency with the aim of developing bilateral cooperation, as well as further increasing cargo turnover and a project for signing an Agreement on cooperation in the field of organizing container traffic between the Turkmenbashi International sea port and Aktau sea trade port of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, the Agreement provides for the provision of preferences in the implementation of bilateral container transportation.
In this regard, the Turkmen and Kazakh sides made notes and proposals to the Agreement at the meeting, and it was announced that the day of signing the Agreement would be reached through diplomatic channels
