On January 7, 2021, a video conference was held in the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of representatives of governmental agencies of the country. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues such as transport and logistics, trade and agriculture. In this regard, the parties noted the importance of developing cooperation in the transport sector, in particular the effective use of transport corridors to improve trade relations. New directions of bilateral cooperation in the field of cargo transportation were discussed. As well, the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency introduced with the capabilities of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport and invited to cooperate in this sphere.
