On September 17, 2020, representatives of the Turkmen side discussed issues of cooperation with “DP World” and “P&O Maritime”, as well as the opening of the “DP World” office in Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by the heads of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary", Turkmenbashi International sea port and Merchant marine, as well as representatives of the companies "P&O Maritime" and "DP World". During the meeting, representatives of “DP World” and “P&O Maritime” put forward proposals for providing vessels for servicing offshore platforms, port services and freight forwarding. In particular, “P&O Maritime”, a subsidiary of “DP World”, made a detailed presentation on behalf of the company about the development of logistics and the shipment of its fleet. In particular, proposals were made to increase the flow of containers by placing the company's vessels in the Caspian Sea for feeder flights.
