On August 16, 2021, a videoconference was held between the Agency “Turkmendenizderyayollary” and representatives of the Islamic Development Bank to discuss issues related to cooperation in the management and operation of the port.
The heads of the Agency “Turkmendenizderyayollary” and the heads of the Turkmenbashi International Sea port discussed issues of cooperation in the management and operation of the port, which is the main purpose of the meeting.
During the talks, representatives of the Islamic Development Bank exchanged experience on further strengthening cooperation, further developing friendly and fraternal relations, as well as managing and operating the port in accordance with modern requirements.
In turn, our colleagues reported that the Turkmenbashi International Sea port is currently operating at full speed, that loading and unloading operations are carried out around the clock, and that various cargoes, that is, import, export and transit cargo, are sent and received in various directions, noted that they create all conditions for sending/receiving cargo in accordance with the conditions.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed gratitude for the mutually beneficial experience and expressed a desire to organize such meetings.
