On November 11, 2020, a videoconference was held in the administrative building of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" with the participation of the Portuguese delegation to discuss the possibilities of developing bilateral export-import circulation. The meeting was attended by the management of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" and the Turkmenbashi International sea port, as well as experts of the working delegation of Portugal. During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibilities of developing export-import relations between Turkmenistan and Portugal. During the meeting, the Portuguese side was informed about the economic development of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen side announced the creation by the Ministry of Finance and economy of Turkmenistan of a new website advertising existing investment projects in Turkmenistan, and called on the Portuguese side to cooperate in this regard. The meeting also discussed the recently created virtual exhibition. The Portuguese side, in turn, informed the participants about the economic indicators and export potential of Portugal. At the end of the meeting, the parties noted that during the negotiations they realized that there are wide opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
