On July 28, 2020, a meeting was held between the agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" and the Romanian company "Chimpex S.A Constanta" in the office building of the agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary". The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the parties, which was attended by the management of "Turkmendenizderyayollary", the management of the Turkmenbashi International sea port and Merchant marine, as well as representatives of the company "Chimpex S.A Constanta". During the meeting, the Romanian company spoke in detail about its activities. That is, it is reported that the company has leased a certain amount of land in the Romanian port of “Constanta”, where it organizes operations for storing grain and various other bulk cargo and sending them to customers. The Turkmen side, in turn, presented the Turkmenbashi International sea port and reported that currently cargo is transported through the port, especially along the Baku route, by Turkmen logistics companies. In this regard, it was reported that the Turkmen side is ready to take full advantage of the Turkmenbashi International sea port to establish cooperation between the two sides.
