The opening of the representative office of JSC "Merchant Fleet" in the Baku international seaport and the provision of bilateral concessions for vessels (ferries) to enter the Turkmenbashi International seaport and the Baku international seaport took place on June 9, 2020 in the office building of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary". The meeting was attended by the Board of Directors of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary", JSC "Sea merchant fleet", the Board of the Turkmenbashi international seaport and the Consul of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the negotiations, the parties discussed a bilateral agreement on concessions for vessels (ferries) to enter the international seaport of Turkmenbashi and the Baku international seaport, as well as the transportation of cars and the opening of a representative office of the "Merchant fleet" in the Baku international seaport.
